Choosing where to dine off campus can be a tricky decision for students new to the area. The best way to get familiar with off campus locations is to ask people who have experience with off campus dining, such as people who live off campus or upperclassmen, and then to try them.

Police force considered

Point Park University may soon be home to its own police force that will have powers of arrest and the ability to carry weapons. 

Last month, the university was granted the right to form a university police force by the Court of Common Pleas in downtown Pittsburgh.

Playhouse to relocate

The discussion of keeping the Pittsburgh Playhouse or establishing a theater Downtown is nothing new to Ronald Allen-Lindblom, dean of the Conservatory of Performing Arts.

The future of the old theater in South Oakland that has many structural damages and other physical problems and a location that does not fit into Point Park University's campus has been argued since long before Lindblom arrived.
